The Rohit Shetty directed film Sooryavanshi has fast become one of the most successful films of recent times. Starring Aksahy Kumar in the lead role, the film which opened to a thunderous response from the critics and audience alike has been raking in the moolah at the box office, despite the pandemic restrictions. Now, in its third weekend running, Sooryavanshi is all set to draw in a further Rs. 11-12 cr. The Day 15th (Third Friday) saw the movie collect Rs. 3.62 cr. at the India box office.

Currently, with the new release Bunty Aur Babli 2 receiving less than appreciative reviews, the business prospects of Sooryavanshi have brightened. In fact, trade predicts that Sooryavanshi will outperform the new release in the coming week.
