Kamal Haasan and Udhayanidhi Stalin announced Production 54 at an event in Chennai which was also attended by celebrities like Aamir Khan, Gautham Menon, and Simbu.

While Vikram has been another turning point in the career of Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan, it seems that the superstar is keen on roping in some more interesting projects. While he already has Indian 2 in the pipeline which has been in the making for a while now, the actor has recently announced his collaboration with Udhayanidhi Stalin aka Udhay Stalin for Production 54.

The untitled film was announced with an event that was held in Chennai which saw Kamal Haasan in attendance along with Udhay Stalin as well as Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan. Uday also took to Twitter to share photos from the event whereas Kamal shared an announcement video of their forthcoming venture.

Thanking Kamal Haasan for associating with his project, Udhayanidhi Stalin spoke about this venture on Twitter by sharing these photos as well as a caption that read,” To celebrate 15 years @RedGiantMovies 's cinematic journey, we honored our collaborators at an event held in Chennai yesterday. @RKFI for giving me the proud opportunity to be the protagonist of the next film and for that. Thanks to @ikamalhaasan sir for posting the notification." (Translated to English).
