Dia herself responded with an endearing message, addressing Shabana as “Amma.”

The second photograph, however, sparked a flurry of speculation. While some viewers speculated that the image could be of Shabana Azmi or her mother, Shaukat Kaifi, others guessed her as Pooja Bhatt. Surprisingly, the image turned out to be of Richa Chadha, who humorously commented on the post with raised hands emojis.

In the final instalment of the challenge, Shabana Azmi shared a childhood photograph alongside a clue, “And, who is she? Highly regarded for her talent.” The image featured none other than Vidya Balan, a fact that fans swiftly deduced.

She was also seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani alongside Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan. The film revolved around the enchanting love story of Rocky and Rani, portrayed by Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh respectively. Jamini and Kanwal, depicted by Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra, added a layer of complexity to the narrative as Rani's grandmother and Rocky's grandfather.
