Anurag Kashyap teams up with Aaishvary Thackeray in Lucknow for an upcoming film

Anurag Kashyap has been shooting a secretive project in Lucknow for over a month with debutant actor Aaishvary Thackeray.

Renowned director Anurag Kashyap, known for his critically acclaimed films like Gangs of Wasseypur and Dev D, has been busy shooting in Lucknow for over a month with Aaishvary Thackeray, who is making his acting debut in this mysterious project. The project, which has been kept under wraps, has generated significant buzz, especially with pictures from the shoot recently leaked in a leading portal.

Kashyap has been filming at various locations across the city, capturing its essence and vibrancy. Interestingly, he has been taking tips from senior filmmakers Sudhir Mishra, who recently wrapped up shooting his web series in Lucknow, and Anubhav Sinha, who has been providing valuable insights to both Mishra and Kashyap.

A source in the film unit said, “The shoot of the ongoing schedule will end on Sunday. We shot at various locations of Lucknow, Mall and Mahibabad area. There is a buzz that a second schedule will be held in September and that probably will be the second part of the film.”

Adding to the intrigue is the involvement of Aaishvary Thackeray. The secrecy surrounding the shoot has sparked curiosity and speculation. The collaboration of this celebrated director, along with Aaishvary Thackeray's debut has everyone eagerly waiting for more details to emerge.

Kashyap and his unit were sighted at several locations, including Patrakar Puram in Gomti Nagar, Kursi Road, City Station, Jahangirabad Palace, and the Clock Tower in the old city.
