Devara Part 1: Janhvi Kapoor gets ‘nervous’ as she dances in jellyfish-infested water; shares BTS videos from ‘Chuttamalle’ song shoot

Devara marked the Telugu debut of Janhvi Kapoor who shared screen space with Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan in this Kortala Siva directorial.

Janhvi Kapoor, who had shared several glimpses from her role as Thangam in Devara: Part 1, ahead of the film’s release have taken to social media to share another set of unseen glimpses from the film. And this time it is about her famous song ‘Chuttamalle’ also referred to as ‘Dheere Dheere’ in Hindi where Janhvi has recorded a lot of interesting videos before she decided to give her actual shot.

In the post, the actress is seen sharing her final thoughts before giving the shoot with a picturesque beach in the backdrop in Thailand. People who have come across the video of the song would be aware that Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR shot for the romantic number against the backdrop of a sea since it also plays an integral part in the film’s plotline. Meanwhile, in the first video shared on the platform, Janhvi is expressing nervousness as she gears up to dance in ‘jellyfish-infested water’ in a thin and simple silk saree.

In another video, it showcases the board which has the ‘jellyfish warning’ written on it and in the third video, the actress points out to one of the crew members who is setting the stage for the water scene in the film. In the said clip, Janhvi is also seen appreciating the member for her courage as she effortlessly walked through the steps. The fourth video features the clip where Janhvi is seen winning hearts as she comfortably dances in her ‘thin silk saree’ completing the scene with confidence. “Too late for some #Chuttamale BTS? I think not,” her caption read.

Fans were excited to see the actress dropping these unseen moments from Devara sets, and some even went on to compare her similarities with Sridevi. Meanwhile, speaking about Devara: Part 1, the film which also marked the Telugu debut of Saif Ali Khan, featured Jr NTR in double role and was directed by Kortala Siva. It was released on September 27 in multiple languages including Hindi.
