It certainly seems like Anupam Kher has made some new friends across the seas, with none other than Hollywood veteran actor Robert De Niro inviting Kher for his birthday party. Tweeting about the birthday bash Anupam Kher posted a couple of images on twitter of him alongside De Niro saying, "Privileged to be invited by Mr. Robert De Niro for his birthday in NY. Met up with David O'Russel & Bradley Cooper.:)".

If that wasn't all, Kher who had earlier shared screen space with De Niro in the 2012 film Silver Linings Playbook also met up with veteran actor Christopher Walken. Currently in the US for a multi-city tour with his play, Mera Woh Matlab Nahi Tha, Anupam Kher was also recently honoured by the Mayor of Houston, Texas, Annise D Parker.

Apart from meeting David O’Russel and Bradley Cooper at the party, Kher also bumped into the Star Wars legend George Lucas.
