The much talked about Sidharth Malhotra – Manoj Bajpayee starrer AIYAARY released today. Though the film has been in the news, the constant delays in its release have certainly affected the overall footfalls at the theatres. However despite this, AIYAARY has opened on a decent note.
Reports state that AIYAARY has opened with an occupancy rate of 20-25% during morning shows. While multiplexes have recorded decent business, single screens, on the other hand, have seen a slow turnout. However, the eventual fate of the film at the box office rests on the audiences’ verdict that depends on the response AIYAARY gets from the critics.
On the whole, AIYAARY that released across 1754 screens in India is expected to do decent business with footfalls picking up over evening and night shows. Going by the current trend AIYAARY is expected to rake in anything between Rs. 5-6 cr on its opening day.
