The Shree Narayan Singh directed film Toilet - Ek Prem Katha released in China on May 8. Starting Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar the film enjoyed the widest release for a bollywood film in the Chinese market. After opening on a good note the second day collections of the film that is titled Toilet Hero in the Chinese market has seen a good jump in collections at the China box office.
In fact, Toilet - Ek Prem Katha had managed to top the list of daily highest grossers in China on Day 2 collecting USD 3.55 million [Rs. 23.97 cr]. Interestingly, the business of Toilet Hero has managed to surpass the collections of the previously released film Bajrangi Bhaijaan on Day 2 that had collected USD 3.11 million [Rs. 20.22 cr]. If that wasn't all, with the audience welcoming the film with open arms the business of Toilet Hero at the China box office is expected to grow over the coming days.
As of now, the two day collections of Toilet - Ek Prem Katha at the China box office stands at USD 5.90 million [Rs. 39.84 cr].
