A few weeks ago, when Aamir Khan attended the wedding of Geeta Phogat in Balali, the villagers were thrilled to see the superstar. Aamir Khan, who was busy with the hectic schedules of his promotions, decided to make all the arrangements for the screening and kept up his promise to the villagers. Since the nearest theatre was over 100 kms away, the superstar decided to make all the preparations for the screening including transportation and providing the audience with snacks. We hear that over 500 people went for the screening and they even spoke to Aamir Khan post the event. While the actor was thrilled with the response, the villagers were more than happy with the star’s gesture.

 

Aamir Khan’s Dangal is based on the lives of wrestler-coach Mahavir Phogat and his wrestler daughters Geeta and Babita Phogat. Geeta tied the knot recently to co-wrestler Pawan Kumar.

 

On the other hand, Aamir who is high on the success of Dangal, will soon take off for New Year celebrations with wife Kiran Rao and son Azad.
