Aditi Rao Hydari turns Assistant Director to Mani Ratnam

 

Aditi Rao Hydari made her Bollywood debut with the 2009 film Yeh Saali Zindagi. The actress has featured in quite a few Bollywood films since. However for her latest movie which features her in the lead role, Aditi decided to also learn the art of filmmaking.Aditi Rao Hydari turns Assistant Director to Mani Ratnam

 

Apparently, Aditi who is currently shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Vallyidai, was more than eager to know about the other aspects of filmmaking and opted to become a part of the assistant directors’ team. In fact Aditi, who also incidentally is the main female lead in the film and will be seen romancing Karthik, had no qualms becoming one of the boys on sets of the film and even ended up playing pranks on the rest of the team.

 

Back on the Bollywood film front, Aditi will next be seen in Sudhir Mishra’s Aur Devdas and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati.
