Aditya Pancholi arrested after a brawl, released later

That Aditya Pancholi and controversies always go hand in hand is something that many of us know. He added yet another feather to his cap of controversies by allegedly getting involved in a brawl at a club on Saturday night, under the heavy influence of alcohol.

 

The incident took place on Saturday night at the club named 'Trilogy', where Aditya Pancholi had gone. The real ruckus began when he started demanding the DJ to play Hindi tracks instead of English songs. And the ruckus took shape of a brawl when a bouncer, who was escorting Aditya, was hit on his head by the latter with a mobile phone. The impact was so huge that the bouncer had to be admitted in the hospital and has now got around three stitches on the head.

Speaking about the incident, D. O. Jadhav (Assistant Commissioner of Police, Santacruz division) said that, post the incident (at around 12.30 am), Pancholi was immediately taken into custody by the Santacruz police, post which, he underwent the mandatory medical tests before being produced at a court. Jadhav added that the medical reports confirmed that Pancholi was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

 

A holiday court on Sunday, then, remanded Pancholi in judicial custody. The current status is that, Pancholi is now out of custody after paying the bail amount of Rs. 50,000.
