Akshay Kumar's special song for Ganpati

A new track has been recorded for Akshay Kumar's upcoming action drama Boss on the request of the makers. The fresh track is supposed to be an ode to Lord Ganesh. However, this track is not included as a part of the film.

 

Director Anthony D'Souza revealed that the special track was included because they consider Ganesha to be the Boss of all Gods. Also, as a part of the promotional activity, the single was distributed for free across all Ganesh pandals and the state as a part of the Ganapati celebrations. Composed by Meet Bros Anjjan, the song has been kept traditional with the use of dhols and the popular lejhim.

Besides Akshay, Boss also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Shiv Pandit, Danny Dezongpa and Ronit Roy and is slated to release on October 16.
