Amitabh Bachchan to be the face of Government's contraceptives campaign

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has extended his support to several social causes including the 'Polio campaign' and now the megastar is all set to be the brand ambassador for the Government. Amitabh has been roped in as the brand ambassador of Government's contraceptives campaign.

 

The contraceptives campaign aims at bringing about a change in the current marketing as well as packaging of products like Nirodh and Mala D. They have decided to re-launch these products and make it attractive enough to people by adapting several strategies similar to private brands available in the market.

While the relaunch is said to have been scheduled on April 5, we hear that Amitabh Bachchan will also be shooting a short commercial in order to create awareness on contraceptives and other family planning products.
