Arshad Warsi in Vashu Bhagnani's Welcome To Karachi

It's been a while since we saw the rib-tickling moments created by Arshad Warsi but the actor is currently busy wrapping up with the shoot of The Legend of Michael Mishra also starring Aditi Rao Hydari and Guddu Rangeela alongside Amit Sadh. And now we hear that Arshad Warsi has already signed his next film titled Welcome To Karachi.

 

Earlier, buzz was that the film will have Kunaal Roy Kapur along with Irrfan Khan, however, now it is Arshad who will star in this two hero project with Irrfan Khan. Confirms a source, "After wrapping the shoots for Manish Jha's The Legend Of Michael Mishra and Subhash Kapoor's Guddu Rangeela, Arshad Warsi was planning to take a three-month break to get back in shape for his next film. He wanted to hit the gym on a regular basis to tone up, when he got a call from Vashu Baghnani for his next titled Welcome To Karachi. As Arshad is very fond of Vashu, he didn't think twice before signing on the film."

Interestingly, this will be Arshad Warsi's third film with Irrfan Khan. The film is an entertaining comic caper between Irrfan and Arshad and will be shot in London, Mumbai and Pakistan. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Welcome To Karachi is directed by Ashish Mohan.
