Chandni Bar maker to start Gauri

R. Mohan, the man who gave us the hard hitting film Chandni Bar is back. He is now making Gauri The Unborn. The film stars Atul Kulkarni, Rituparna Sengupta and Anupam Kher in lead roles and will be directed by Aku Akbar. Akbar is a well-known director down south having made some Malayalam films. The film will be shot from a start to finish schedule in Kerala. Says Rituparna Sengupta, The film is an emotional story and a different subject. Like Chandni Bar, even this film is woman centric and has a hard-hitting feel. The music of the film is by Raju Singh. Gauri The Unborn is expected to release early next year. Before Chandni Bar, R. Mohan had produced Gardish which was directed by Priyadarshan. Gauri The Unborn will be produced under the banner of Myth Productions in the name of R. Mohans son, Amit Mohan.
