Darsheel Safary to star in Deepa Mehta's adaptation of Midnight's Children

Super-talented child actor Darsheel Safary, who impressed one and all with his performance in Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par, will now feature in Deepa Mehta's adaptation of Salman Rushdie's Midnight's Children.

Darsheel will be playing the role of Salim Sinai in the film while American-Indian actor Satya Bhabha will be playing the role of the older Salim.

 

Darsheel recently shot for the film in Colombo and did impress his director Deepa Mehta with his acting abilities.

 

The wonder-kid is now busy promoting his next big release Zokkomon which hits theatres on April 22nd.
