'Elaan' -is not 'Sholay': Vikram Bhatt

One film that has generated tremendous excitement prior to its release is Venus' new flick ELAAN, directed by Vikram Bhatt. Tell him that the promos of the film are looking hot and Vikram adds quickly, I hope the viewers like the film as well, he smiles. While the countdown has begun for Vikram's new film, you can't help but ask him if ELAAN is SHOLAY in a new avtaar. I don't think anyone in the right senses should try to adapt SHOLAY. No one can ever do that. But, I do admit, ELAAN is modelled on the lines of vendetta films, he states. Will ELAAN consolidate Vikram's status as a dependable director, let's await the audience verdict!
