Jacqueline Fernandez to do second Sri Lankan film with Chandran Rutnam

Though she is ideally a native of Sri Lanka, Jacqueline Fernandez decided to debut in a Sri Lankan film just two years ago with Chandran Rutnam's directorial According to Matthew. And now the actress has decided to collaborate with Chandran once again.

 

According to Matthew is yet to hit the silver screen but Chandran has decided that he will be working with the actress soon enough. Impressed by her talent and spontaneity, Chandran revealed that he has already written another film in which he will have Jacqueline Fernandez playing the female lead. He also added that the subject for this film will too be thrilling like his previous one (According to Matthew) and will release in Hindi and English.

On the other hand, Chandran mentioned that According to Matthew is slated to release in July in UK and US. The said film is based on a real life case where in an English pastor was convicted for a double murder of his wife and his lover's husband. The film will see Jacqueline playing the role of the pastor's mistress.
