Lara Dutta to star with Akshay Kumar in Singh Is Bling

Despite the recent changes, it seems that the film Singh Is Bling is on track and the makers are all set to roll. While Amy Jackson replaced Kriti Sanon as the leading lady, yet another actress has been signed for the film. It is none other than yummy mummy Lara Dutta who is returning to Bollywood after a maternity break.

 

Though she will be seen as Kay Kay Menon's love interest in her husband Mahesh Bhupati's film Abhi Nahi Toh Kabhi Nahi, Lara Dutta will also play a prominent role in Singh Is Bling. Talking about signing her for the film, producer Ashwini Yardi stated that she will take comedy to another level in this film and that it was an attempt to revive the chemistry the two share on screen. Interestingly, Lara Dutta played Akshay Kumar's love interest in her debut film Andaz and she also played the role of his wife in her last film Chalo Dilli where the superstar was seen in a cameo.

Elaborating on her role, Lara expressed her excitement to work with Akshay in Singh Is Bling. Moreover, she also mentioned that it will be a complete new experience to work with Prabhu Dheva with whom she will be working for the first time.
