It has become a trend for Hindi actresses to do films in South. After Tabu, Aishwarya Rai, Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty and Sushmita Sen, it was said that Lisa Ray had also set her eyes on South films. To be specific, she has already been signed for a Telugu film opposite actor Balkrishna.
But the KASOOR girl denied the news outright when we quizzed her about it. "It is a baseless rumour. I have not got any offers from the South industry," she told us. But after a pause, she said she was open to offers if approached "I am superstitious in the sense that I don't confirm anything unless it happens on paper. Even in the case of KASOOR, I spoke about the film only after it was completed. In any case, I'll be able to talk only after it materialises."
