Music director Ravindra Jain passes away

Even though Bollywood prefers thumping music these days, there is one person who will always be remembered for his simplicity and his undying passion towards his music... the music master Ravindra Jain. The sad news is that Jain is no longer with us as he set for heavenly abode today. Recently, he was admitted to Lilavati Hospital due to his bad health (urinary infection causing a problem in his kidney as per reports).

 

The irony of his life was that despite being born blind, his music served as an eye opener to many. He never let his blindness handicap his creativity in any manner. His work (read 'gems') can be heard and felt in films like Insaf ka Tarazu, Raja Harishchandra, Ram Teri Ganga Maili, Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se, Chitchor and many others.
