Prosenjit Chatterjee dies 11 times in Shanghai

Bengali superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee, who plays a highly educated and dynamic politician in Dibakar Banerjee's upcoming thriller Shanghai, will be seen dying eleven times in the film, in different ways and patterns and at different places.

 

The film starts with Prosenjit's death and revolves around the mystery of his murder. In the film, there are eleven people who have witnessed Prosenjit's murder and each one of them explains to the police their independent incidences. So a death sequence was shot for each person's vision.

Shanghai is a political thriller and also stars Emraan Hashmi, Abhay Deol and Kalki Koechlin in pivotal roles and is set to release June 8.
