Rani Mukherji launches Indias first air safety manual in Braille

September 20 saw Rani Mukherji launch Jet Airways air safety manual in Braille which is the first of its kind in India. Eminent lyricist Javed Akhtar and Jet Airways CEO Peter Luethi were also present at the occasion. Incidentally, Javed Akhtar is on the Jet Airways board of directors. This project was initiated by the airline in order to aid its blind passengers. Rani Mukherji recently left the audience spellbound by her portrayal of a blind and deaf girl in Sanjay Leela Bhansalis Black. Thus, she seemed the ideal Bollywood personality for the launch of this manual.
