Rikku confirms Aashiqui Deewangi is not shelved:

A daily recently carried a report saying that Vimal Kumar had shelved his Karan Nath-Kirti Reddy starrer AASHIQUI DEEWANGI. The news-report took us by surprise since the film was launched last year amidst fanfare. Moreover, Vimal Kumar had also recorded some songs, besides completing a schedule of the film. Rikku denied the news when we spoke to him. "AASHIQUI DEEWANGI is not shelved, but the film has been delayed due to several reasons, one of them being that the producer is on the lookout for one more hero and heroine, since Kirti is deepneck into BADHAI HO BADHAI. Besides, Vimal Kumar is currently recuperating after he hurt himself in an accident. The film will resume from September," Rikku clarifies. That should set the record straight!
