Shilpi Sharma joins cast of Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine

It seems like Shilpi Sharma, who was last seen in Anees Bazmee's Thank You, is now all set to say 'Thank You' to her stars for having bagged a biggie in her kitty. The biggie is in the form of Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine.

News has it that Shilpi has already shot a couple of scenes for the film. Talking about the film, she said that Madhur (who happens to be her family friend), approached her for the role as he was looking out for someone glamorous. Needless to say that, his search for the girl ended with Shilpi.

 

Like any typical 'heroine-speak' (no pun intended), Shilpi said that she can't reveal much about her role as she is contract-bound. In order to get into the skin of her character, Shilpi recently has been hitting the gym regularly, which is in accordance to Madhur's instructions for her to lose weight and look fit. Shilpi however refused to reveal any details about her character.
