Six films to release on January 10, 2014

In a day and age where any film hardly gets a week to flex its muscles and draw in the revenue at the box office, come January 10, 2014, the audiences will witness not two or three but six films releasing on the same day. While this multiple release phenomenon isn't new to the industry (case in point, nine releases a week before the release of Chennai Express), Bollywood Hungama decided to list out the Jan 10 releases, while taking a look at the ones that are most likely to break away from the clutter.

From the six films that are slated for release on Jan 10, two films, Dedh Ishqiya, and Gulaab Gang, feature Madhuri Dixit in the lead roles. While the third film Ragini MMS 2, features the famous pornstar turned actress Sunny Leone.

 

On the other hand, the other three films, Dishkiyaaoon features Sunny Deol, Karle Pyaar Karle featuring Suneel Darshan's son Shiv and Yaariyan is music moghul Bhushan Kumar's wife Divya's directorial debut venture. Though all three have massive backing in terms of known names either as producers, directors or actors, we wonder whether they will manage to give a fight to the other films releasing on the same day.
