Of late, there have been several rumours about a divorce between filmmaker Soundarya Rajinikanth and her husband Ashwin Ramkumar. Soundarya Rajinikanth, daughter of South megastar Rajinikanth, recently took to Twitter to reveal the truth about the divorce stories that are being circulated by maintaining that she is indeed separated from her husband Ashwin and that a divorce is on the cards. She posted, "News about my marriage is true. We have been separated for over a year & divorce talks are on. I request all to respect my family's privacy." We hear that there have been trouble in paradise for quite some time now and their marriage hit rock bottom last year. It is being said that despite efforts taken by either side of their families and even with Rajinikanth intervening, the couple decided to maintain their stand and have decided to part ways. However, the reason for the same is still unknown.

 

Soundarya Rajinikanth, who recently directed Kochadaiiyaan and is also the founder of Ocher Productions, married Ashwin Ramkumar in 2010 and the couple even has a son named Ved.
