Priyanka's father, Late Dr. Ashok Chopra, will soon have a street named in his honor, located in Yari Road close to the Chopra residence. The inaugural ceremony will be attended by close family and friends as well as members of the NGO's that Dr. Chopra was associated with.

Confirming the news says Priyanka Chopra's spokesperson, "Yes, a road will be named in honor of the late Dr. Ashok Chopra. His years of service as a doctor have garnered deep admiration and respect. It is a big moment for the family".
