The Dirty Picture shoot once again affected by Telangana bandh

It may be recalled that the shooting of Ekta Kapoor's The Dirty Picture had come to a standstill at Ramoji Rao Studio in Hyderabad in the month of June following a 2 day Telangana bandh. Now the unit, which is still shooting in Hyderabad, had to yet again call off work for a day due to yet another bandh on Friday, July 22.

Even though the unit was informed about the bandh in advance, the inability to shoot cost them almost Rs.40 lakh.

 

The Dirty Picture, directed by Milan Luthria, stars Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor in lead roles. The film chronicles the life and times of South sex symbol Silk Smitha.
