Veteran filmmaker K. Balachander critical

Veteran filmmaker K. Balachander, best remembered for his films like Aval Ora, Thodar Kathai, Apoorva Raagangal, Avargal, Varumayin Niram Sigappu as well as Bollywood films like Aaina (1977), Ek Duuje Ke Liye (1981) and Roja (1992) etc. was admitted to the Kauveri Hospital earlier this month for age related health issues.

 

Now we hear that the 84-year-old director- producer has been shifted to the intensive care unit after he developed a urinary tract infection. Though the veteran filmmaker's condition is critical, his general condition is stable.Veteran filmmaker K. Balachander critical
