In its pursuit to constantly introduce innovations in entertainment, Pritish Nandy Communications, in association with MTV, has launched the 'Item Girl Hunt'. The campaign, currently on air on MTV, invites participation from young women with oodles of attitude to compete and perform a new item number in PNC's forthcoming film SHABD, starring Sanjay Dutt, Aishwarya Rai and Zayed Khan.
The response to the contest has been overwhelming, states Nandy. The MTV office is swamped with phone calls, emails and SMS messages from young enthusiasts wanting to take part in the talent hunt.
The successes of Isha Kopikar in KAANTE, Anusha in MUMBAI MATINEE, Mahek Chahal in CHAMELI and now Jelena in POPCORN KHAO! MAST HO JAO, all launched by PNC in the 'item number' avatars, has resulted in unprecedented interest in the contest.
The auditions of the 'Item Girl Hunt' will be held on August 28 and 29 and the finals on September 3 at a grand event in Mumbai.
