WTF! Deepak Tijori’s wife is not his wife? Still, she has applied for divorce. Here’s how and why!

 

The versatile actor Deepak Tijori, who is best known for his roles in films like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, Ghulam and Khiladi, is in dire straits these days. The reason and the cause is his wife Shivani, who is ‘technically’ not his wife! We were as confused at this as you are, but a little bit of research enlightened us about the whole issue.WTF! First things first. Deepak Tijori happens to be his wife Shivani’s second husband. Recently, Shivani had thrown him out of their spacious 4 BHK house in Goregaon (Mumbai), after she reportedly suspected him of having an affair with his yoga instructor, who is years younger to him. Post this; she has not only filed for divorce, but also for maintenance as well (under section 125 CrPC (Code of Criminal Procedure). Deepak Tijori got a shock of his life when he discovered that Shivani had not divorced her first husband, thus, making his marriage with her null and void! There were reports floating about, despite not having divorced her first husband, Shivani ‘ill-treated’ Deepak Tijori by instructing the servants not to give him food nor clean his room.

 

So far, it’s not clear as to what will be Deepak Tijori’s next step in this direction. Meanwhile, Deepak’s advocates also had a valid point of nullifying Shivani’s application of divorce and maintenance. Because Shivani had not yet divorced her first husband, her marriage to Deepak Tijori stands null and void. Secondly, as far as maintenance is concerned, their daughter Samara is not a minor, but a 20 years old lady. Because of this, she did not qualify for maintenance.
