Box Office: Andhadhun on its way to become a hit, Loveyatri flops

Andhadhun is showing terrific trending at the Box Office. It is far better than Ayushmann’s past films Shubh Mangal Savdhan and Bareilly Ki Barfi performance on first Monday. Andhadhun garnered Rs. 3.40 crore, taking a leap from from earning Rs 2.70 crore on Friday.This happens very rarely but the Sriram Raghavan directed film is an exception. That pretty much establishes a solid run ahead at least for the current week.

The film has already collected  Rs.18.40 crore and now Rs.27 crore would certainly be surpassed in one week flat even if there are drops. There is a plethora of releases in the coming week which means masses would be spoilt for choices. However if Andhadhun manages to surpass that challenge over the second weekend then there won’t be any stopping for the film.

 

As for Loveyatri, it is turning out to be a no show. The film collected a mere Rs.1 crore on Monday which is not a very good sign for the makers. With mere Rs.7.90 crore coming in, there is hardly any traction that the Salman Khan production has generated. One certainly expected at least a Rs. 20 crore lifetime for the film but as of now it looks like it is a Rs.13-14 crore runner at best. Flop!
