Box Office: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl registers the 4th highest 2nd weekend collections for 2019; surpasses Chhichhore and Super 30
Ayushmann Khurrana has over the past couple of years proved that content is king thanks to his unconventional choice of films. If that wasn’t enough, it is the actor’s forte of doing such stories that has endeared him to the masses, propelling Ayushmann to the major league. Currently his recent release Dream Girl has been doing brisk business since its release, raking in the moolah while entertaining the audience.
In this box office report we take a look at the second weekend collections of Dream Girl while comparing the same to previous releases of 2019. Collecting Rs. 25.45 cr on its second weekend running the business of Dream Girl has managed to surpass the collections of Chhichhore that had raked in Rs. 25.23 cr and the Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 that had collected Rs. 24.73 cr. In fact, Dream Girl has become the fourth highest second weekend grosser of 2019 preceded by films like Kabir Singh that collected Rs. 47.15 cr, Uri - The Surgical Strike that collected Rs. 38.22 cr, and Mission Mangal that had collected Rs. 36.45 cr.
As of now, Dream Girl still continues to run in theatres, and with audience still patronizing the film all that remains to be seen is whether this Ayushmann Khuranna starrer goes on to become one of the highest grossers of the year.
