Box Office: Baadshaho becomes Ajay Devgn’s 3rd highest opening weekend grosser

 

The Milan Luthria directed film Baadshaho starring Ajay Devgn along with an ensemble cast of Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta, Ileana D’Cruz and Vidyut Jammwal released last week on Friday. In this box office report we take a look at the opening weekend collections of Baadshaho while comparing the same to Ajay Devgn’s previously released films. After collecting Rs. 12.60 cr on its opening day Baadshaho that has been doing brisk business in mass dominated sectors witnessed growth in business with Rs. 15.60 and Rs. 15.10 cr more coming in on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Thanks to this, the film which managed to rake in Rs. 43.30 cr has now become Ajay Devgn’s third highest opening weekend grosser. Though the collections of Baadshaho do no surpass Devgn’s previous releases like Singham Returns that collected Rs. 77.69 cr and Son of Sardaar that collected Rs. 66.02 cr, Baadshaho does out beat Ajay Devgn’s other films like Bol Bachchan that had collected Rs. 43.10 cr, Satyagraha that collected Rs. 39.12 cr, Golmaal 3 that collected Rs. 33.58 cr, Himmatwala that collected Rs. 31.1 cr, Singham that collected Rs. 30.98 cr, Action Jackson that collected Rs. 29.25 cr and even Shivaay that had raked in Rs. 28.56 cr.

 

Now given that Baadshaho continues to run in theatres the film is expected to remain stable over the weekdays posting decent collections.
