Box Office: Baaghi 2 has very good hold on Day 2; collects Rs. 20.40 crore

After a fantastic first day which saw Rs. 25.10 crore coming in, Baaghi 2 managed very good hold on the second day as well. Typically films grow on Saturday, however since Friday was a partial holiday there was a drop on the cards. Still, the numbers have been quite positive as Rs. 20.40 crore more were accumulated.

To have solid collections like these is quite superb since with this the overall total stands at Rs. 45.50 crore. In the process the film has already gone way past the entire weekend numbers of the first in the franchise, Baaghi [Rs. 38.58 crore]. This isn't all as in just two days the film is now next only to the first three day numbers of Padmaavat [Rs. 78 crore]. As for the weekend numbers of Raid [Rs. 41.01 crore] and PadMan [Rs. 40.05 crore], they are already history.

Raid is already on a different tangent altogether and now it has to be seen how does Sunday turn out to be. At the bare minimum the film would match the Friday numbers of Rs. 25.10 crore. However, if this Sajid Nadiadwala, Ahmed Khan and Fox Star film actually manages to come close to the Rs. 30 crore mark, it would set it up well for a Rs. 100 Crore Club entry in the first week itself, hence instantly propelling it to the Superhit status.
