Box Office: Dear Zindagi is Shah Rukh Khan's eighth highest Opening Day ever

 

On Friday, we saw the release of Gauri Shinde’s Dear Zindagi. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt. Even before the release of the film, the film was grabbing headlines for its unique storyline. While Shah Rukh’s multi starrer Happy New Year that released in 2014 still remains as the Highest Opening Day grosser for the actor with collections of Rs. 44.97 cr, Dear Zindagi comes in eighth with collections of Rs. 13.5  cr, just after the actor’s last release Fan that collected Rs. 19.20 cr.

 

However, Dear Zindagi managed to surpass other SRK starrer My Name is Khan that collected Rs. 8 cr.
