Box Office: Kaabil beats Raees in Week 5; scores hat-trick by beating Raaes for three consecutive weeks in a row

 

Back in January we finally saw the much talked about and highly anticipated clash between Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen with their films Kaabil and Raees releasing on the same day. In this box office report we take a look at the fifth week collections of both Kaabil and Raees while comparing them to each other. Interestingly Kaabil has managed to rake in Rs. 12 lakhs while on the other hand Raees has managed to collect Rs. 5 lakhs in the same time frame. With the fifth week collections of Kaabil surpassing that of Raees the Sanjay Gupta directed film has managed to score a hat-trick by surpassing the collections of Raees for three consecutive weeks in a row.

 

However, though Kaabil leads the charts in terms of weekly collections now, Raees still emerges as the higher grosser with collections of Rs. 137.48 cr as compared to Kaabil that has collected Rs. 103.77 cr.
