Box Office - The Lion King crosses Rs. 75 crores; Super 30 goes past Rs. 110 crores after Wednesday

There is no stopping The Lion King as it stayed fantastic on Wednesday as well. The Hollywood animation flick brought in Rs. 6.25 crore which is again a very good hold when compared to Rs. 7.02 crores that it has gathered on Monday.

So far, the film has collected Rs. 75.92 crores and it would be over Rs. 81 crores mark by end of week. The trending is really good and more would come in the second weekend too when at least Rs. 20 crores more are expected. That would make the film go past the Rs. 100 crores mark in just 10 days, which is superb.

 

As for Super 30, it is bringing numbers as well from its target segments, as evidenced from Rs. 3.16 crores more that came on Wednesday. The film has held on well in the second week so far and that has resulted in Rs. 110.68 crores in its kitty already.

 

The film would be well over the Rs. 113 crores total before the week comes to a close and from there it would be all about the kind of hold that it manages from third week on. Hit.
