Box Office: Raid does not surpass Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety; becomes 3rd highest second weekend grosser of 2018

The Raj Kumar Gupta directed film Raid that featured Ajay Devgn in the lead role released a while back. After opening on a slow note during morning shows, the business of the film saw good growth over evening and night shows. Continuing with the same trend, the business of Raid continued to be rather good over the ensuing weekdays as well.

 

Box Office: Raid does not surpass Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety; becomes 3rd highest second weekend grosser of 2018

 

In this box office report we take a look at the second weekend collections of Raid while comparing the same to previously released films of 2018. Collecting Rs. 16.48 cr, Raid manages to surpass the collections of the Akshay Kumar starrer Pad Man that had collected Rs. 9.03 cr to become the third highest second weekend grosser of 2018.

 

Interestingly though, the business of Raid does not manage to out beat the sleeper hit Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety that had collected Rs. 19.40 cr on its second weekend. While Padmaavat still continues to retain the top slot as the highest second weekend grosser of 2018 with a collection of Rs. 46 cr.
