Box Office: Sanju nears Rs. 580 cr at the worldwide box office

The Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju released all of four weeks ago. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film which was based on the life of popular actor Sanjay Dutt has been rocking the box office since its release. In fact, the business of Sanju managed to cross the Rs. 100 cr mark within just three days of its release, and continued to rake in the moolah as the weeks passed.

Now after a stellar four weeks run the total collections of Sanju that saw one of the widest releases in recent times has managed to create a benchmark of sorts. In fact, the total gross collections of Sanju at the worldwide box office have managed to cross not just the Rs. 500 cr mark but also the Rs. 550 cr mark. With a massive Rs. 432.64 cr gross coming in from the domestic market and another Rs. 146.95 cr gross from the overseas markets the total worldwide gross collections of Sanju are currently pegged at Rs. 579.59 cr.

 

Now, with the business of Sanju finally slowing down with newer releases hitting screens the question remains whether the collections of the film will manage to make it past the Rs. 580 cr mark.
