Box Office: Sanju registers the highest third weekend collections of 2018

The Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju released a while back. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film which is said to be a biopic on actor Sanjay Dutt has been doing brisk business at the box office since its release. Now after its third weekend, the business of the film has continued to remain rather stable.

In this box office analysis, we take a look at the third weekend collections of Sanju while comparing the same to previously released films of 2018. Collecting Rs. 21.46 cr on its third weekend, Sanju has managed to surpass the Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor starrer Padmaavat that had collected Rs. 17.80 cr to become the highest third weekend grosser of 2018. If that wasn’t all, the business of Sanju on its third weekend has also registered higher number than other releases like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety that collected Rs. 11.05 cr, Raazi that collected Rs. 10.87 cr, and Baaghi 2 that collected Rs. 7.20 cr.

 

As of now with Sanju still running to packed theatres, expectations are that the film will see yet another spike in collections on its fourth weekend as well.
