Box Office: Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety registers the 2nd highest Week three collections of 2018

The Luv Ranjan film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety released three weeks back and has been doing brisk business at the box office. Featuring Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bahrucha and Sunny Singh the film has fast turned into the first sleeper hit of the year. In fact, the business of the film has been pretty unprecedented and is almost nearing the Rs. 100 cr mark at the box office.

In this box office report we take a look at the third week collections of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety while comparing the same to previous releases of 2018 that have made it to their third week. Collecting Rs. 17.93 cr in its third week in theatres Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has managed to become the second highest third week grosser of 2018 after the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed film Padmaavat that had collected Rs. 31.75 cr. On the other hand, the third week business of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has managed to out beat the collections of the Akshay Kumar starrer Pad Man that had collected Rs. 3.35 cr.

 

If that wasn’t all, since Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety still continues to run in theatres, the business of the film is expected to cross the Rs. 100 cr mark in the coming few days.
