 Box Office: Udta Punjab is the 6th highest 'Adults Only Certified' grosser of Bollywood

 

 

Its been two weeks since the release of the much talked about Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh starrer Udta Punjab . Post the entire battle that played out in the media between the makers of the film and the Central Board Of Film Certification, the highly anticipated film finally hit screens after a court order.

 

In this box office report, we take a look at the overall collections of Udta Punjab while comparing them to previously released films that were rated 'Adults' only. Interestingly, the film that collected Rs. 54.35 cr has managed to surpass the collections of Delhi Belly yesterday -June 26, 2016. However the film Grand Masti that collected Rs. 102 cr still leads the pack and is the only 100 crore grossers from amongst this category.
