Jawan Box Office: Jawan collects Rs. 29.96 cr at national multiplex chains on day 1; surpasses Pathaan, KGF 2 and War
The much-awaited Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan finally released yesterday, and audience across the country have been flocking theatres. in fact, in the run up to its release, Jawan has been enjoying a massive rate of advance bookings, that has ensured he film start on a thunderous note. In fact, across the major national multiplex chains Jawan has seen one of the highest rates of advance bookings but has the same translated into box office collections is the question of the hour. Obviously, Jawan has emerged victorious collecting Rs. 29.96 cr on its opening day from national multiplex chains alone.
In this box office report, we look at the collections of Jawan at national multiplex chains on opening day while comparing the same to previous releases. Collecting Rs. 24 cr at PVR and a further Rs. 5.96 cr at Cinepolis and a further Rs. 1.02 cr from MovieMax, Jawan has managed to draw in a staggering Rs. 29.96 cr from three national multiplex chains alone. When compared to previous releases, Jawan has emerged as the clear leader surpassing the business of previous releases like Pathaan which collected Rs. 27.02 cr, KGF – Chapter 2 which collected Rs. 22.15 cr and even War which collected Rs. 19.67 cr.
Currently, Jawan which enjoys the audience favour, and the advantage of highly positive critic reviews is expected to see its business grow exponentially. In fact, based on pre-booking rates and general audience craze trade predictions state that the collections of the film could reach if not cross the Rs. 150 cr mark by the end of its opening weekend.
