Jugjugg Jeeyo Advance Booking Report: Records 50% ticket sales of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2; sells 15,500 tickets at the national chains

Dharma Productions is all set to release its first film post the pandemic in theatres with Jugjugg Jeeyo. The family entertainer, produced by Dharma Productions in association with Viacom 18, stars Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Kiara Advani and it promises to deliver quintessential Karan Johar elements that include love, laughter, dance, drama, and music. The film has sold a total of 15,500 tickets for the opening day [for its Friday shows] at three key multiplex chains of India, namely, PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis as of Wednesday 10 am.

According to the data received by Bollywood Hungama, Jugjugg Jeeyo has sold 9,000 tickets at PVR, followed by 4,500 tickets at Inox and 2,000 tickets at Cinepolis. While the film has already recorded these sales for the opening day, it is yet to be seen how much it will be able to record on Thursday. When compared to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the film has not been able to surpass the Kartik Aaryan starrer as it has recorded around 50% ticket sales for Day 1.

 

While there has been ample talk about the film, it seems unlikely that it will surpass the ticket sales made by Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
