The Kashmir Files Box Office: Film beats PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sanju; ranks as 4th all-time highest second Monday grosser

There seems to be no stopping the Vivek Agnihotri directorial The Kashmir Files. After a thunderous first week, the business of the film rocked the box office on its second weekend as well, now on its second Monday in theatres there are no signs of The Kashmir Files slowing down as it enters the third week. In fact, the business of the Anupam Kher starrer has been maintaining a constant momentum raking in the moolah with each passing day.

In this box office report, we take a look at the collections of The Kashmir Files on its second Monday in theatres while comparing the same to previous releases that have made it this far. Not surprisingly, The Kashmir Files that has been enjoying incredible trending has managed to draw in Rs. 12.40 cr. With this, the business of the film has surpassed the collections of previous releases like the Aamir Khan starrer PK which collected Rs. 10.08 cr, the Salman Khan film Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs. 9.3 cr, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju that collected Rs. 9.10 cr, Kabir Singh that collected Rs. 9.07 cr, Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior that collected Rs. 8.17 cr, and Padmaavat that collected Rs. 7 cr. However, becoming the fourth all-time highest second Monday grosser, The Kashmir Files does not surpass certain other releases like Tiger Zinda Hai which collected Rs. 18.04 cr, Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion that collected Rs. 16.75 cr, and Dangal that collected Rs. 13.45 cr.

 

Currently, The Kashmir Files continues to entice the audience, despite the new release Bachchhan Paandey providing some competition. Not surprisingly though, the business of The Kashmir Files has hardly seen a dip in collections. Going further trade predicts that the business of the film that is currently pegged at Rs. 179.85 cr, will eventually cross the Rs. 200 cr mark over the next couple of days. In fact, it will come as no surprise if The Kashmir Files eventually cross the Rs. 250 cr mark by the end of its second week.
