The Kerala Story Box Office: Film collects Rs. 112.99 cr in 9 days; emerges as Adah Sharma’s first Rs. 100 cr grosser

Last week we saw the release of the Adah Sharma starrer The Kerala Story. Produced by Vipul Shah the film which is directed by Sudipto Sen is said to be somewhat inspired from the lives of three women. While the initial reaction to the film was rather mixed, at the box office The Kerala Story seems to be holding its own. In fact, after opening on a steady note, the business of the film saw immense growth with its fourth day collections recording higher numbers than its opening day.

Now on its second weekend running, The Kerala Story that has collected Rs. 112.99 cr in just 9 days of its release has become the fourth release of 2023 to cross the Rs. 100 cr mark. Interestingly, for Adah Sharma, The Kerala Story has now become the actor’s first ever release to cross the Rs. 100 cr mark. In fact, the film also ranks as her highest grossing release till date as well.

 

With The Kerala Story crossing the Rs. 100 cr mark, Adah Sharma now joins the likes of Taapsee Pannu, Nargis Fakhri, Rashmika Mandanna, Vaani Kapoor, Pooja Hegde, Bhumi Pednekar and others to have one film each that has entered the highly coveted Rs. 100 cr club.
