Adipurush dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir says Saif Ali Khan’s remark on Raavan was misunderstood; film to show different shades of Raavan
Talking to a news portal, Manoj said that Saif was trolled for humanising Raavan but said that there is nothing offensive in the film. Muntashir said that Saif was misunderstood and said that Raavan is perceived as an all-black figure, but in the film he will be seen in all his shades.
The writer said that Saif will be playing a flamboyant king who was also cruel and sadistic. He further said that Raavan believed that he was more powerful than Ram and could never understand why Sita would not fall in love with him.
Manoj Muntashir also said that Saif's height will be increased to eight or nine feet using special effects to depict his larger-than-life persona. The actor will be seen sporting a thick moustache, long hair and muscular build.
Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush has Prabhas as the protagonist who will be essaying the role of Ram. It also stars Kriti Sanon as Sita.
