Akshay Kumar proves he “hates filters” with a hilarious video; shares update about Selfiee trailer, watch

Recently, Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi made a big announcement as they shared an update about their upcoming film Selfiee. On January 15, the duo shared the motion poster of Selfiee on their respective social media handles. As the motion poster has created a buzz, the makers will soon drop the trailer as well.

Hinting towards the same, AK shared a hilarious video with his fans on Instagram. In the video shared on Tuesday, Khiladi Kumar can be seen trying out various “filters'' while informing his fans that the makers will soon release the trailer of his film Selfiee. At the end of the video, an irritated Akshay can be seen signing off while saying, “I hate these filters man.”

 

Instagramming the video, Akshay wrote a short caption, which read, “Now you know why I called filters “fillers”, because they really get under my skin.” He also assured his fans that the trailer will be out soon as he asked them to “stay tuned”. For the unversed, here, Akshay gave a reference to an incident that happened during his appearance in the latest Koffee With Karan season. Akshay Kumar’s witty video left a bunch of his fans laughing out loud. “Hahahaha this is cute,” wrote a fan while another wrote, “excited”.

 

Talking about the motion poster, it showcases the massive face-off that the two lead characters, played by Akshay and Emraan, will be seen having in the film. Selfiee is a remake of the hit South Indian film Driving Licence, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjarammoodu.

 

Helmed by Raj Mehta, Selfiee also features Nusshratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty as the leading ladies. The film is slated to hit the big screens on February 24. If reports are to be believed, the trailer is said to hit the tube on January 19.
